This eye-catching perennial will grow quite happily in shade or in sun if the soil is very moist. It tends to spread but at a satisfying, rather than alarming rate, giving dazzling, lush ground cover. Plant with Rheums and red Acers for interplay and contrast. Grow in moist soil in sun or shade.
